Paul Stephen Morse

February 19, 1953 – September 6, 2022GRANGER – Paul Stephen Morse, 69, passed away September 6, 2022. Born February 19, 1953, he was the son of Robert Morse, who resides in Colorado and the late Norma (Wasson) Morse, Dec. 30, 2015. On July 27, 1991, Paul married the love of his life, Bec Ann Morse, who lovingly helped care for him as his health declined. Also left to cherish his memory are: his children, Tamara (Chad) Christian of CO, Monica (Eric) Lassen of IN, Sherry (Randy) Whitehill of OR and Michael (Emilie) Morse of IN; three step children, who he loved as his own, Stephanie (Todd) Shearer of CT, and Eric (Monica) Lassen of IN and Tracey Lassen, of IN; two sisters, Rhoda Elrod and Julia Toler both of CO; 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Paul loved music which was his lifes ambition and played for several bands. He enjoyed sharing his gift of music by playing with his band, Blue Skies, at several nursing homes in the Michiana area. He was also in a Gospel group, called Lighthouse, and started a Quartet, called Good News, in the 70s. He worked as a Heating and Cooling technician for over 30 years. He loved God, his family and his church. He will be dearly missed. A visitation to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, September 20th, from 4-7 p.m. at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, or to the family, to help with expenses.
