Peter B. Hersey

Peter Bigelow Hersey passed away unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a car accident on October 30, 2022 at the age 80. He was born to the late Bigelow Thayer and Elizabeth Kelton (Smith) Hersey on December 4, 1941 in Melrose, MA.

Peter is survived by his wife, Liselotte “Lotte;” children, Hope Perkins of Middlebury, IN, Mark Hersey of Arlington, VA, and Rebecca Russell of Wesport, ME and Nikolay Hersey of Vienna, Austria; and grandchildren: Sarah Hersey of CA, Nick, Matt and Robert Harrison of IN, Kate, James and Max Hersey of Vienna, Austria, and Tristan and Sebastian of Arlington, VA.

A Celebration of Life for Peter will take place at River of Life Fellowship Church, 11162 IN-120, Middlebury, IN 46540, beginning at 10 a.m.
