Phillip C. Troost

MISHAWAKA-Phillip C. Troost, 88, went to his heavenly home on September 25, 2022. Born July 28, 1934, he was the son of the late Horace and Josephine (Timmer) Troost. On March 29, 1956, Phillip married Glenda Mae Cooper. She preceded him in death in March of 2012. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, David and James Troost. Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Brenda Troost of Rockford, MI and Patricia (Brad) Santa of Grand Prairie, TX; sister, Judy Brink of Grand Rapids MI; brother, Thomas Troost of Florida; and two grandchildren, Taury Troost and Matthew Brown; along with two great-grandchildren, Teagen Thomas and Hunter Brown. Phillip was a proud Air Force Veteran. He was a retired production manager. He was a great husband and grandpa who loved spending time with this family and was liked by everyone who knew him. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Smith Chapel Cemetery located on Redfield Street in Edwardsburg, MI.
