Ramona Rose (Harms) Ornat, 91, passed away May 16, 2021, at Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born in South Bend on August 16, 1929 to Eugene and Frances Harms. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Euretha; brother-in-law, Ted Deguc; and nephew, Ted Deguc, Jr. She is survived by her children, Edward, Rudy, Suzanne and Baron; niece, Frances Deguc Nagy; nephew, Eric (Missy) Ornat; grandchildren, Patrick, Baron M., Jordan; and great-grandchild, Leo.
Mom worked 20 years at South Bend Freight in the collections department. She was a very caring and loving mother that enjoyed family gatherings. She will be dearly missed.
