Randall “Randy” Brooke Greene

GRANGER-Randall "Randy" Brooke Greene, 79, passed into the arms of his Savior on April 9, 2022.Born November 17, 1942, he was the son of the late Edward Greene and Bernice (Harold) Wollen. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, Barry, David and Darrell Greene; two sisters-in-law, Pam and Candy; and two brothers-in-law, Jack and Hisham.On February 26, 1962, Randy married the love of his life, Cheryl Martin, with whom he shared 60 wonderful years. She survives him. To their union, they were blessed with two children: Randall "Scott" (Kellie) Greene of Granger and Denise (Steve) Robertson of South Bend. Also left to cherish his memory are: five sisters-in-law, Serene Mazzela, Starr Bawab, and Rose, Kathy and Doren Greene; two brothers-in-law, Ray Hornberger and Eugene Catenacci; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.Randy was an extremely loving and devoted husband, dad and grandpa. He was kind, gentle and compassionate and was loved by everyone.A proud Navy Veteran, he was the Plank Owner on the USS Constellation CVA 64, from 1960 - 64. He was a driver for Consolidated Freightways for 35 years. He was a member of Teamster #364. He loved golfing, the Cubs, playing the stock market, playing the drums and gardening. A "Mr. Fix-it," he could and did, fix everything.
