Rebekah Dianne Wilkinson

Rebekah Dianne Wilkinson, a cherished soul whose warmth and laughter touched many lives, passed away on March 2, 2025, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 49. Born on August 18, 1975, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Rebekah's life was one of love and a genuine concern for others.

Rebekah graduated from Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana, and furthered her education by earning a Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from Indiana University South Bend. This academic pursuit set her on a path to making a difference in the lives of many. Throughout her career, Rebekah served in dental offices within the community for fifteen years, where she was known not only for her professional skills but also for her remarkable ability to make patients feel comfortable and accepted just as they are. Her thoughtful heart and quick wit turned each visit into an uplifting experience.

Beyond her career, Rebekah had a deep love for children, which she joyfully expressed in various capacities—from the dental office to the cradle roll Sabbath school room. It was during these moments that her innate gifts truly shone, as she embraced each child with open arms and a loving spirit.

Outside of her professional and personal commitments, Rebekah enjoyed a rich variety of hobbies and interests. She delighted in traveling, listening to music, walking along the Mishawaka Riverwalk, tending to her pet parakeets, and perhaps most of all, a game of cards over breakfast.

Rebekah leaves behind her family, including her daughter, Sadie (Ethan) Jasper; mother, Janice (Kenneth) Kazmucha; and siblings, Benjamin (June) Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Andrew Wilkinson, Megan (Shawn) Kelley, and Peter Wilkinson. Though she is profoundly missed, the legacy of her kindness and the joyous memories she created will remain bright in the hearts of those who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father, Bruce Wilkinson, and her beloved children, Eleisha Pates and James Pates.

Rebekah Wilkinson's spirit will continue to inspire those fortunate to share in her light.
