Richard Gene Bruder

Richard Gene Bruder 70, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on August 30, 2022.He was born to the late Raymond William and Eva Fern (Williams) Bruder on June 18, 1952 in Dixon, IL.Richard is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rebecca; daughters, Rebecca Toland (Paul Loflin) and Eileen Coyle (Rodney Jacobs); grandchildren: Colin Toland, Courtney (Robert) Eiler, Cassandra Coyle, Samantha Jacobs (Michael Hale) and Madelaine Jacobs; and great-grandchildren, Gwen and Curtis Eiler, Eva Laytart and Lennon Hale; and siblings, Gloria (Greg) Abbott, Ron (Connie) Bruder and Randy Bruder.He was preceded in death by sister, Barbara Price; and sister, Dawn Bruder.Richard was an avid stock-car racing fan and supported the local talent. He also loved girls softball and coached the game including his daughters for many years taking the team to State in 1985.Richard was a hard worker and wanted to take care of everyone. His loving, sarcastic and funny way of life will be greatly missed.A Celebration of life will take place on November 5, 2022 from 1-5p.m. at the Reagan Community Center in Tampico, IL.
