Richard W. Hunsberger, 68, passed away on August 3, 2018 after a short illness. Richard was born in Goshen, Indiana in 1949 and educated at Wakarusa High School.
He is survived by his spouse, David R. Williams; his son, Christopher Hunsberger; daughter, Tamara Howard; brother, Leory Hunsberger; sister, Beverly Miller; and six grandchildren.
He worked many years as an auto glass replacement specialist, most recently with Glass Doctor. Richard was a voracious reader, talented at auto repair, home remodeling and home repairs, an excellent cook, and he once created a computer program to help his young children with learning. His genuineness, willingness to help anybody, positive attitude, and sense of humor touched the lives of many. He will be sorely missed by his spouse, family, friends, and his church family. He was active in the First Unitarian Church of South Bend.
Memorial Service for Richard will be held at the First Unitarian Church of South Bend, 801 E. Washington St. on Saturday August 11 at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First Unitarian Church of South Bend.
