Robert L. “Bob” Davis, 94, formerly of Munster, IN, passed away peacefully in his daughter's home, with her by his side, on May 6, 2023.

Born November 15, 1928, he was the son of the late Everett and Hazel (Stevenson) Fleming.

On April 24, 1954, Bob married the love of his life, Eleanor Lupean. She preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Jerilynn Davis; and son, Robert C. Davis, both of Michigan.

Bob was a loving and devoted husband and father. A hard worker all his life, he worked as the Regional Maintenance Supervisor for Trailer Train Company (TTX) for 30 years before his retirement. He was also a proud US Marine Corp veteran. SEMPER FI

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with a military honor’s service following at 12:30, on Friday, May 19, at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd. W. Burial will take place for Bob, and Eleanor, at Fort Custer National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
