Robert Walter Meyers, Jr.

GRANGER- Robert Walter Meyers, Jr., 68, passed away peacefully in his home May 24, 2018.Born October 10, 1949 in Fairmont, WV, he was the son of the late Robert Walter Meyers, Sr. and Martha Alice (Neu) Meyers.On December 27, 1970, Bob married the love of his life, Jan Sampson. She survives him. To their union, they were blessed with two sons, Robert Walter Meyers, III of Redlands, CA and Richard William (Megan) Meyers of Granger. He is also survived by a grandson, Bradyn Alexander Meyers; sister, Marty (Ken Edstrom) Gentry of Springfield, MO; nephew, James (Kristen) Gentry of Cleveland, OH; and niece, Sarah (Bobby) Gentry of Warrensburg, MO.A celebration of life service will be held at Monroe Circle Community Center, 526 W. Western Ave., South Bend on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Doors open at 10 to visit with family and friends, and a luncheon will follow services.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Granger Community Church Nicaragua Fund, in Bob's name.
