ELKHART-Robin Kay Lisnov, 67, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully April 26, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.She was born April 18, 1951, in La Porte, IN to Cy Lisnov and Barbara Jean (Browning) Scavo. Her mother preceded her in death.Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: Barbara Trumfio Pippin of Florida, Rick Lisnov of South Bend, Lisa (Mark) Fine of Detroit, Sherry Lisnov of Detroit and Mark Lisnov of Detroit; her father, Cy Lisnov of Detroit; and a nephew, Kyle Pippin. She also leaves behind numerous loving and joyful friends.Robin was a gifted singer, actress and writer. She was a fierce woman who was active with many social change groups, especially as an advocate for domestic and child abuse causes. She had a big heart and spent her last years as a caregiver. She was dearly loved by many and she will be greatly missed.The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Hematology and Oncology group at Memorial Hospital, as well as the staff at the Center for Hospice Care, who showed so much compassion.A celebration of life is being planned for May 20th in Chicago.
