Ruth E. Ryan

Ruth Elizabeth Ryan passed away peacefully on September 28, 2016, at the age of 91.
Being born and raised in Virginia, her southern charm was her greatest gift. She was a kind, pleasant, and patient woman. In 91 years, she never spoke harshly to anyone or about anyone. Her heart was forever full of love for all people.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Ryan. She is survived by her loving son, Mark Ryan, with whom she most recently resided, as well as son, Frank Ryan. Also surviving are her treasured grandsons, Dylan Ryan (Andrea LeDoux) and Scott Ryan; and their mother, Kathy Ryan Thornton. Two step-grandsons, Austin Bassett and Ian LeDoux, also survive her.
Her personality resonated throughout her life, which provided her a bounty of marvelous friends. While employed as a sale associate at the Milady Shop and Newman's, many of her customers would greet her with affection long after the shops had closed. We are all fortunate to have had her in our lives.
