Sandra Sue Queen

Sandra Sue (Flynn) Queen, 69, passed away on Thursday morning, April 23, 2020 at Elkhart Place Senior & Assisted Living with her two children, Amy and Chuck at her side.Sandra was born in Terre Haute, IN, on July 22, 1950 to the late John and Eleanore (Gill) Flynn.Sandra is survived by her daughter Amy (Queen) Conklin, Amy's husband, Jim Conklin, and children, Tyler and Derek Conklin; and her son Charles Queen, his wife, Kristen, and their children, Cameron and Caroline Queen. She is also survived by her sister Sally (Flynn) Smith, and her children Brett and Todd Smith.Sandra was a graduate of Southwood High School in Wabash, IN. She furthered her education at Saint Mary's College at Notre Dame, IN, graduating in 1973 with her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Education.Sandra was an avid reader and music lover, passionate about American History and enjoyed researching family genealogy. She was also a fanatic about Notre Dame football.Given the current health environment there will be a service for family and friends at a later time for Sandra.
