Sharon “Sharee” Dickhans

SOUTH BEND-Sharon Elaine Dickhans, 70, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at her home in South Bend, Indiana, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Sharee was born on August 10, 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana.  Sharee is the daughter of Regina and Louis Dealer, Michigan City, Indiana, who preceded her in death. Sharee held an Associate's Degree in Dental Assisting from Detroit Mercy.  She was a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization (P. E.O.) in Holland, Michigan.  She is survived by her husband of 45 years, John; her sister, Barbie (Terry-deceased) Wiseman; her three daughters, Christine Blozis, Leslie (John) Duquette, and Jennifer (Adam) Sargent; grandchildren, Jeremy, Michael (Lexi), Tyler, Cameron, Riley, Ethan, Madeline, John, Braeden and Porter Louis; and one great-grandchild, Malcom.Sharee was a dental assistant for 35 years in Michigan City, Indiana, her hometown. She loved her family dearly, and spent her final days surrounded by her loved ones. She loved reading, listening to music, spending time with her friends, and being involved in her community.  She was a member of Sunnyside Presbyterian church in South Bend, Indiana. A church service will be held to celebrate Sharee's life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 am for immediate family members only, due to COVID-19 restrictions.  The service will be live steamed at sunnysidechurch.org.
