Stanley Richard Galbreath, 87, passed away September 29, 2016, after a short illness. He was born June 4, 1929 in Pierceton, IN to Royce and Bonnie Faye (Kissinger) Galbreath, now deceased.
Stanley is survived by his second wife, Nancy Mann Galbreath, who he married April 9, 2008. Also surviving are two daughters, Elaine McGue of Erlanger, KY and Linda (William R. Jr.) Cummings of Gilbert, AZ; and two step-children, Ryan (Lucy) Lane of Indianapolis and Val Lane of South Bend. Also surviving are three grandsons, John Loper, Jr., Peter Randall Loper, and Jerome Wade Loper; one granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn (James) Szobody; two step-grandchildren, Sam and Hannah Lane; one great-grandson, one great-great grandson; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Charlotte Mae; daughter, Peggy Jo (John, Sr.) Loper; step-son, Jim Lane; as well as a brother, Robert; and sisters, Mary Stouder, Betty Evans, Ruth Davis, and Inez Deveny.
Stanley retired in 1990 and moved to Sebring, FL, where he pursued his hobbies of billiards, horseshoes, bowling, shuffleboard, playing cards. and fishing. In 2008, Stan moved to South Bend, IN, with his wife, Nancy, where he enjoyed the company of many friends, as well as his hobbies. He was a two time past Master of the Pierceton Masonic Lodge. `
