South BEND — Stanley David House, 80, passed away on February 27, 2021 at 5:20 am in the Mishawaka Hospice House.
He was born on May 24, 1940 in the town of Remington in Adams County, Indiana to the late Walter Richard and Helen Elizabeth (Shafer) House and grew up in North Manchester, IN.
Stan is survived by the love of his life and wife of almost 60 years, Juana Sue (Houser) House of South Bend; two sons, Trent (Aileen) House of Boston, Mass and Sean (Lydia) House of India; grandchildren: Declan House of Boston, Katie, Matthew, and Andrew House all of India; a brother, Paul (Joyce) House of Naperville, IL; and sister, Ruth (the late Kenny) Draper of Lafayette, IN.
Stan graduated from Manchester High School in 1958 and then enlisted into the United States Coast Guard where he received an Honorable Discharge. Stan was a public accountant for 49 years and his clients valued his diligence, attention to detail and impeccible moral standards. Stan was a quiet and gentle man supportive of his family and he loved watching TV sports of all kinds.
Sue would like to thank her sons and their families, her Panera family and other close friends for all of their love and support over the last year.
