GRANGER– Susan M. King, 64, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2019.Born July 26, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Earl Rosenfeldt and Geraldine (Adelman) Galler.Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sarah (Steve) Lotter of Granger and Valerie (Ben) Silver of South Bend; four grandchildren: Nona Lotter, Ella Silver, Morrie Lotter and Harry Silver; and sister, Marci Owens of Arizona.Sue was a loving and devoted mother and "Bubbe." She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends more than anything. She was a member of Sinai Synagogue and a recent retiree from Social Security Administration after a long and impactful career. Sue was fun, generous and forever positive, despite life's setbacks. She loved dogs and was once actively involved in rescuing retired racing greyhounds. She loved art, reading, movies and plays, and she was always ready for conversation. She will be sorely missed by her dear friends and family.A graveside service will be held Sunday, Sept. 1, at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 1616 Miami St. South Bend, with Rabbi Michael Friedland officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sinai Synagogue.
