Timberly Lyn Goble, of Mishawaka, IN, passed from this life Saturday, 8/26/23, after a long battle with diabetes and respiratory complications. She took her last earthly breath at her home in the company of two of her sisters, with friends, aides, and nurses whom she loved close by. She was 52.
Born on January 15, 1971, in San Bernardino, CA, to Charles and Fern Goble, Timberly was the youngest of six children and was preceded in death by her parents and oldest sister. Baptized into Christ as a young girl in California, Timberly is survived by three children; two grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law; three sisters along with their husbands; numerous cousins; nieces; nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved.
Known for her affinity for frogs, Timberly gathered a collection of frog mugs, ceramics, and toys over the years that went with her wherever she moved. She loved Coca-Cola and watching Law and Order SVU cross-country with her sister late into the night. Timberly loved animals and was an expert in the "Claw" arcade game, and she would collect her stuffed animal winnings to share with her friends. She loved the ocean and could sit in awe for hours, watching the waves rolling in and out.
Playful, positive, opinionated, and highly generous, Timberly was a dear friend to the few who got to know her, the type of person you knew you were lucky to have crossed paths with in this life. She was a lighted candle amid a dark world.
We entrust her to the mercy of Jesus and His eternal inheritance, for He said, "There are many homes up there where my Father lives, and I am going to prepare them for your coming. When everything is ready, then I will come and get you, so that you can always be with me where I am." from John 14:1-3 TLB.
Enjoy that home you've longed for, dear sister, and pray for us; we've got a little further to go.
