Trista Kay Miller

Our beloved daughter, Trista Miller, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 5, 2022. A resident of Edwardsburg, Michigan almost her entire life, Trista was born on April 30, 1987, to her parents Kris and Jeffrey Miller in Kalamazoo, Michigan. As a child she enjoyed going to church, dance and choir. She always loved spending time with her friends and family or sitting down with a good book.

After graduating from Edwardsburg High School, she embraced her love of learning by attending Northwestern University and Southwestern Michigan College, graduating with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She then continued her education at Ivy Tech where she accomplished being on the Dean’s List. She received her CNA Certificate along with her Medical Coding Certificate as well. All of these achievements brought Trista great pride in her life as she often struggled through school with a learning disability. Trista will be dearly missed and remembered for her kind heart, love of family, and joy of celebrating the holidays.

She will be dearly missed by her father, Jeffrey Miller; her mother, Kris Miller;  sister, Molly Miller; nephew, Eli Miller; Grandmother, Juanita Brassell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceding Trista in death, was her beautiful little sister, Michelle Miller.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with visitation from 1-2:30 p.m.
