GRANGER-Wilda Noreen (Tinsley) Miller, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2022.She was born on July 21,1948 in Anderson, IN to the late William and Della Tinsley. Wilda graduated from Frankton High School with the Class of 1966, and from Ball State University in 1970. She was a teacher in both the Penn and Mishawaka School Systems for 40 years. She loved reading and going to State Parks, especially McCormick's Creek, as well as the Elkhart County Fair. Her truly happy place was spending summers at her lake cottage at Coberts Lake in Edwardsburg. She spent many nights playing spirited games of cards and marbles with family and friends (especially her grandchildren!).Wilda was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Cassopolis, where she was a Sunday school teacher and treasurer.She married Robert (Bob) Miller in 1978. He preceded her in death in 2007. Wilda is survived by her 5 step-children, Kathleen (Steve) Stout, Nancy (Don) Miller, Kerry Miller, Kevin (Janet) Miller, and Nathan (Vickie) Miller. Wilda is also survived by 13 grandchildren who adored her and loved spending time at the lake with her. They are Daniele (Erik) Milholland, Steve (Betty) Stout, Brooke (Andy) Price, Jordan (TJ) Granum, Taylor (Jake) Richards, Paxson (Paige) Miller, Sarah Miller, Carlee Miller, Paige Miller, Kramer Miller, Konnor Miller, Lexi Miller, and Libbi Miller; along with 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Newby; nephews, Scott Newby and Tim (Amy) Newby; and brother-in-law, Dick (Joanna) Miller.A viewing will be at held on Thursday, January 20th from 4-7PM with the funeral service on Friday, January 21st at 11AM, with visitation beginning at 10 AM, all at the McGann Hay, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23, enter off Cherry Rd., Granger, IN.Memorial donations may be made to the First Church of God in Cassopolis, 21083 Spencer Rd, Cassopolis, MI 49031.For directions to the funeral home, or to send private condolences to the family, please visit: www.McGannHay.com.
