William Thomas Wienert

GRANGER-William Thomas "Bill" Wienert, 83, passed away in his home, June 16, 2021, with his loving family by his side.Born November 25, 1937, he was the son of the late William and Ordine (Bouman) Wienert.On April 20, 1968, Bill married the love of his life, Barbara Brosky. She survives him. To their union, they were blessed with two children: Kevin (Tammy) Wienert of Goshen, and Leslie (Ken) Bohn of Niles, MI. Also left to cherish his memory are: his sister, Bonnie (Ray) Carlin of Butternut, WI; four grandchildren, Kyle and Collin Bohn, and Olivia and Madison Wienert; and his precious adopted Golden Retriever, Ginger.Bill was a truly "nice" guy. He was genuine and soft spoken and loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren play in all their sporting events and rarely missed a game. He, and his wife, also had a heart for animals in need and had adopted seven Golden Retrievers over the years. He had a hard battle with cancer at the end, but never complained. He set a great example for his family. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.Per his request, cremation will take place.
