Zev Jacob Meyers

SOUTH BEND-Zev J. Meyers, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his home, on September 14, 2021, of natural causes. Born April 26, 1967, Zev was the son of Gary Upshaw and Pat (Virtue) Buffington. His father preceded him in death.On January 5, 2010, Zev married Tehiya Ripps. She survives him. Also left to cherish his memory are four daughters: Kasha, Zoe, Meira and Amalya; his mother, Pat Buffington; and two brothers, Mark and Glen Upshaw.Zev was a loving and devoted husband and father. He was a gifted craftsman, working on many projects at home. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles, building and fixing, and reading the Torah. He had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, September 15, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
